Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) will:
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, administer medications as prescribed by the resident's physician and documents the administration, the medication effectiveness, and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Understand and agree with Symphony's philosophy and goal to maintain, improve, and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life.
Complete required record keeping per facility policy as well as perform other duties as assigned.
If you are looking for a fast-paced environment, we are a short-term rehab facility. We are the gate between Hospital and Home where our guest come in and are brought back to health to better prepare them to return home
Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Requirements:
Certification by the Indiana State Dept of Health as a QMA and be in good standing
1+ years experience in a long-term health care facility or equivalent environment preferred
Ability to work every other weekend as Everyother holiday
