Club Role - Personal Trainer

Job Summary

The Personal Trainer role is responsible for creating exercise programs for a wide variety of clients to ensure they achieve their fitness goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ fitness levels and skillset to plan attainable goals
• Design exercise programs using company systems and tools (TrueCoach)
• Lead and coach clients through planned exercise programs
• Educate clients on diet, nutrition, and proper/safe use of equipment
• Track clients’ progress and make adjustments as goals are reached
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with clients
• Maintain an accurate schedule within company system (DataTrak)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree - Kinesiology or Exercise Science (preferred)
• Personal training experience - 1 year (preferred)
• CPR/AED certification (preferred)
• Professional personal training certification (required)
• NASM, ISSA, ACE, NCCPT, NFPT, ACSM, NESTA, CSCS

• Ability to work early mornings, nights, and/or weekends
• Encouraging and patient attitude
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with clients
• Ability to work with clients who may need specialized attention

Job Requirements

• Pass drug screening
• Background check
• Use of finger scan technology for recording time worked
• Not eligible to work remotely

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
