Our Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to help support our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of pharmacy equipment and processes, as well as facility safety standards and emergency procedures. This is a key position for our organization, so we are looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician who has a strong customer service mentality, is detail-oriented, and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on health and nutrition matters.
• Hand out medicine and track its use.
• Determine the right dosage of medicine.
• Communicate with doctors, nurses, and patients.
• Work as part of a team.
• Be able to identify prescription drugs by sight, sound, taste, and shape.
• Be able to handle potentially dangerous substances safely.
• Understand state pharmacy regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• PTCB Certification (Required)
• Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
