Job description
The Respiratory Therapists will demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of their assignment, which may include, but not limited to Oxygen therapy, Aerosol (updraft), High Flow, VEST, IPPB, MDI, IS, CPT, BIPAP, CPR, Volume Ventilation, Cardio-version, CPR,Peak-flow, Pulse Oximetry, Sputum Collection, Medical Gas, Arterial Blood Gases, and airway management. Must possess knowledge of respiratory therapeutics and the correlation of diagnostic assessment. Provides respiratory therapy procedures to all patients served. Performs a variety of duties, relative to cleaning, sterilizing and storing respiratory equipment.
Subject to lifting boxes 40 lbs. or less, pulling and pushing equipment of 300lbs or less and prolonged walking two-three hours at a time, bending and stooping 10 -15 minutes in duration and sitting 15-20 minutes during computer inputs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education and Training Experience Required
- Graduate of Respiratory Care Program, AAS or BS
- RRT or RPFT and RCP
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Current Texas Medical Board
- Current CPR/BLS and ACLS
