Chair Lift, Tow Rope, and Tube Hill Operator
Job description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Chair Lift, Tow Rope and Tube Hill Operator acts as support staff to the Ski Department for Villa Olivia. Duties include:
- Responsible for the safety of patrons while riding the lifts, tows and tube hills.
- Assist patrons with loading and unloading on ski lift, tow ropes and tubing hill.
- Enforcement of ski hill rules and regulations.
- Assist ski patrol with safe evacuation procedures during emergencies; transporting injured skiers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Requires strong problem solving skills and ability to act rationally and calmly in emergency situations.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
SCHEDULE & PAY: Typically under 20 hours per week: mid-November through the beginning of March; weather permitting. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Starting hiring range is $13.00 per hour.
