Description:
We currently have an opening for a full-time Chaplain to join our caring team of professionals. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week.
Essential Functions:
- Foster an atmosphere of respect and dignity for spiritual needs.
- Offer religious and spiritual guidance to patients.
- Offer prayer or reflection.
- May participate in committees and patient conferences to enhance the continuity of care.
- Develop positive working relationship with members of the treatment team.
- Provide consultation and appropriate resources to the interdisciplinary team and group therapists regarding the spiritual needs and requests of the patient as they relate to treatment.
- Keep documentation as required.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
Other Functions:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
- Completion of curriculum of theological classes and displays skills and competencies in pastoral care required.
- Previous pastoral experience preferred.
Licenses/Designations/Certifications:
- Certification by an appropriate clinical pastoral agency.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Required- Masters or better in Counseling or related field
