A day as a Chef:
  • Bake and prepare pastry items according to specification/recipe.
  • Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO&CO quality
  • Motivate, train and develop team members’ skills
  • Act as a role model while taking part in service - preparing and cooking dishes, tidying and cleaning your section
  • Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple station within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Keep immediate work area clean at all times and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
Who you are

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in Pastry/Bakery preferably with large production volume
  • Knowledge of baking ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and baking times.
  • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field is desirable
