Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and modify reactors and other lab equipment to accommodate project needs.
• Responsible for the synthesis, development and analysis of novel materials and/or crystallization processes
• Contribute to the synthesis of gram to kilogram quantities of experimental products to support discovery pipeline molecules at various stages of development
• Conduct and evaluate experiments using appropriate safety guidelines consistent with established safety practices.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to Operations and Validation group
• Own the inventory and ordering processes to build and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Advance team efficiency through collaboration and novel process/mechanical solutions.
• Chemical and physical analysis of various process streams and samples
• Leads technical troubleshooting and investigations of process issues to support root cause analysis, product impact assessment and effective corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
• Master's Degree is a plus
• 0-2 years of analytical or engineering experience desired
• Ability to work hands on with equipment
• Ability to work well in a team setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
