East West Family of Companies is seeking a Chief Information Officer to be a strategic partner in innovation and IT solutions. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) supports the East West Family of Companies (East West) which includes East West Hospitality, East West Partners, and Slifer Smith & Frampton. They will work closely with the East West CEO’s, Executive Committees, Vice President of IT, and Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) across East West to drive business objectives. They will be the technology leader and strategic partner for all East West technology activities including developing, planning and implementing an information technology (IT) strategy that meets East West’s business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security. The CIO is flexible and dynamic, prepared to meet business needs while protecting standards and managing towards efficiency.

The CIO will be a thought leader, striving to not just be the technology expert, but also think outside the box and drive innovation. The CIO will be focused on envisioning the future of East West and delivering on strategic IT solutions that will enable East West to achieve its long-term growth and strategic goals. The CIO will partner with each company’s BRM to understand each company’s specific needs, prioritize them, and provide counsel back to the BRMs and each company.

While this role is heavily focused on innovation and long-term strategic outcomes, the CIO will be responsible for assuring East West’s security, network administration, system administration, technical support, Office 365 administration, all companies’ applications and systems, data aggregation and reporting, and IT/IS project management are operating effectively. They will leverage their skills and experience to lead their team and identify growth and optimization opportunities in each of these areas. They will continuously evaluate and improve the IT function, processes, strategy, scope and design.

The CIO will cultivate and maintain enduring relationships, founded in trust, with each CEO, Executive Committee members, and BRMs across East West to achieve short-term and long-term business and strategic objectives. They will lead a team that will develop best practices, share insights and execute transformational IT efforts. They will view challenges as opportunities and tackle them with optimism.

Location: Corporate Office. Can be based in either Colorado's Front Range or Vail Valley. Must spend regular time in Corporate offices in Avon, CO.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $200 - $250k + 20% bonus potential


Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Ideal candidate is an IT professional with 12-15 years of experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Executive level IT leadership.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Technical Certifications preferred
  • Combination of experience and education also considered.
  • Hospitality technology experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds at times.
