Here at gpac we are working with a wonderful nonprofit organization that is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join their team. They are seeking a self-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the internal operations of the business. The COO is an essential member of the leadership team and the primary implementer of the team’s growth strategy for the business.

The COO will work directly with the President to create and execute a sustainable plan for continued growth of the organization. They will develop and oversee the necessary systems and procedures to maximize the effectiveness of every department and employee. Responsibilities

• Oversee every department of the business, working closely with the department heads
• Design, plan and Implement business strategies and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals and a plan to achieve them
• Ensure company is meeting its legal, ethical and moral obligations in its operations.
• Build or procure internal systems to maximize efficiency and communication between departments
• Manage the sales team and future business pipeline
• Lead the Marketing functions of the business, alongside the marketing team
• Promote the company’s culture and vision
• Motivate and train employees for future success
• Recruit and hire new staff as growth necessitates
• Onboard new employees

Qualifications and Skills

• Highest consideration given to equivalent work experience and sheer ability to do the job
• Business education a plus
• High attention to detail
• Familiarity with IT and Business infrastructure
• Strong organizational skills
• Desire to learn and master new skills
• Leadership and motivational skills
