Job Summary

MPS is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee the end-to-end processing of customer product claims including claim tracking, review and audit, negotiation, and settlement. This is a high-profile position that works closely with the product, quality, and field sales teams to stay closely aligned on risk areas and timely customer resolution. In addition, the role partners closely with the FP&A and Accounting teams for budgeting and accruals.

The Claims Manager reports to the Corporate Controller and will be based in San Jose, CA or Kirkland, WA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop processes and procedures to efficiently monitor global customer product claims
• Oversee the intake, validity and processing of product claims and supporting documents
• Monitoring claim administration and negotiation progress
• Works closely with finance to forecast and administer claim settlements
• Determines the value of settlements and reviews settlement contracts
• Works closely with insurance carriers to comply with reporting requirements
• Assist with executive updates and ad hoc projects as needed

Position Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role, preferably high-tech
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid attention to detail and excellent project management skills
• Wells versed in handling insurance documentation and legal liability
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally
