Are you a customer-focused fanatic who loves research and problem-solving? We are seeking a service-focused Claims Specialist with demonstrated skills in prioritization, time management and problem-solving to join our Claims Specialist Team.
Hybrid remote work schedule with offices located in Great Bend, KS and Wichita, KS
What you will do
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process and audit medical, dental and vision claims
- Research and troubleshoot complex questions, plan issues and health plan vendors or other benefit plan service providers as appropriate
- Ensure policies, procedures and health plan benefits are executed with precision and timeliness
- Project management and analysis of client needs
- Communicate with policyholders, employer groups, vendors, brokers and internal staff
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering and handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, email and faxed correspondence
- Lead and facilitate meetings with internal and external customers
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a medical insurance claims related position
- 2+ years of experience processing medical, dental and vision claims
- 2+ years of experience in customer service and working with external clients
- Experience working at a TPA
- Experience with self-funded plans
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Outlook
- Strong project management, analytical and organziational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High School or equivalent
- Medical Terminology

- Strong presentation skills and ability to lead meetings
- Working with clients and building relationships
- Experience processing claims in LuminX
- Ability to analyze data and provide solutions
- Work closely with internal teams and management
