Collector and Classic Car Center Leif Johnson Auto Group is recruiting a Classic Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join its team.

We are looking for a skilled Classic Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our team Leif Johnson Auto Group.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of classic and vintage cars, rebuilding and restoring them to their former glory.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with classic cars and will be familiar with point-style distributors and carburetors. ASE certification is a plus, but not required. You must be able to work independently and be detail-oriented, with strong communication and time management skills. A valid driver's license and the ability to drive a manual transmission are also required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The general maintenance and servicing of classic and vintage cars.
• Diagnose and perform automotive repair and rebuild services
• Ability to perform light and heavy line repairs, electrical, drivetrain and suspension services

Candidates should be able to work diligently and without constant supervision to an extremely high standard and be able to use initiative where necessary.

Essential requirements:

• You have to have Classic Car experience for this job.
• Must be able to diagnose and repair a multitude of classic vehicles including point-style distributors and carburetors
• Must own their tools
• ASE certified a plus but not required
• Good communication skills essential
• Time management imperative
• Must pass a background check, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to drive a manual transmission
