Do you love seniors and helping them to remain at home? Senior Community Services is looking for compassionate people to provide housecleaning for adults age 60+ in their homes.

JOB DESCRIPTION: HOME Program House Cleaner

5-20 hours per week (Depending on your availability-will build up a client base over time)

Make your own schedule M-F during daytime hours

Duties can include cleaning, laundry, changing bedding, grocery shopping/running errands

*Cleaning experience preferred, must be 18 years of age or older.

HOURLY WAGE: $17 per hour with a mileage stipend in between client's homes, and paid breaks 15 min breaks every 4 hours worked

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primarily - General cleaning to include:

Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms etc.

Laundry and changing bed linens

Grocery Shopping - Picking up groceries and/or running errands

Maintain records (turn in timesheets and mileage) with attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION ARE:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to manage a schedule and complete paperwork (via email)
• Reliable transportation (public transportation does not fit this position)
• 6 month commitment to the position
• Availability to work M-F daytime hours
• 5-20 hours per week (Dependent on how many hours you have available and client load)
• Cleaning experience preferred

Willingness to drive to the homes of senior clients in Hennepin County Greatest need currently is in the southern suburbs of Hennepin County.
