Essential Job Functions

• Full-Time CDL with Passenger Endorsement
• Health, Dental, and Vision benefits paid for the employee. Pension Plan and PTO!
• The shift is evenings 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, rotating weeks between Sunday through Thursday and Tuesday through Saturday.
• Required to adhere to IndiGO’s Drug and Alcohol Policy, participate in random drug and alcohol testing and annually successfully pass a Department of Transportation physical.
• Cleans the exterior and interior of transit vehicles using hand and power equipment, using broom, cloth, mop, vacuum cleaner, and whisk broom
• Wash interior windows, dash area, seats, seatbelts, ceiling and walls
• May sterilize interior of vehicle, using sterilizing sprays or sanitizers
• Checks interior for vandalism and conditions which would injure passengers or their clothing and reports damage or repairs damage as applicable
• Removes dirt, grease, and oil from exterior surfaces of vehicles, using steam-cleaning equipment, or by spraying or washing vehicles, using spraying equipment, brush or sponge
• Cleans exterior windows with water, cleansing compounds, and cloth or brush
• Fuels buses and checks oil and water levels when required
• Moves and lines up buses in yard
• Must be able to follow safety procedures including wearing personal protective equipment
• Must be able to operate all Authority vehicles
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by clearing floors and work surfaces of trash, cleaning up spills and debris and returning working materials and equipment to proper storage
