Job description
The Part-Time Cleaner is responsible for cleaning the restaurant and preparing it for service the following day/later that morning.
- Sweep floors and remove debris.
- Remove all hood vents and spray with assigned cleaner
- Clean ovens.
- Wash tops of ovens and steamers.
- Remove and clean all line drawers.
- Clean all rails and rail covers
- Wipe down all counter tops, shelving (including under sides)
- Polish all stainless steel.
- Wash and scrub all floor mats.
- Wash all walls in kitchen and receiving area.
- Break down and clean dish machine including vents.
- Wash all trash barrels and line with trash bags.
- Clean employee bathrooms.
- Restock all paper towels, soap, sanitizers, and sanitary napkin holders.
- Scrub all floors and floor drains.
- Replace all floor mats.
- Put away all cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Organize storage area.

- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for entire shift. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull, climb and wipe. Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
