Position Title: Cleaning Lab Operator - (Evenings 2pm to 10:30pm)

JOB SUMMARY: The Cleaning Lab Operator is responsible for using a variety of fixtures, tools, cleaning equipment and work instructions to perform a series of operations to clean, test and package parts used for medical devices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
• Clean, passivate, and packaging parts in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures.
• Maintain consistent quality and workmanship of the parts cleaned and packaged.
• Process paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Monitor and control ultrasonic cleaning system’s tanks, temperature and cleanliness.
• Monitor and control DI water system daily and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Understand and comply with Quality System requirements.
• Complete assignments in a timely fashion, staying on task, minimize interruptions of work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures per the LSI Solutions Employee Manual.
• Report to work on time, including returning from breaks and lunch periods.
• Properly task in and out of work orders.
• Capable of searching and locating documents and WI in GAS.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support all Lean initiatives
• Assist team members and be helpful and encouraging.
• Any other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in part cleaning is a plus
• Preferred experience with cleaning agents i.e. detergents, nitric acid

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Attention to detail to identify potential changes and problems with the processes and products.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and consistently demonstrate compliance.
• Able to communicate with team members in a positive manner.
• Able to work independently as well as alongside team members.
• Proficient use of computers for simple to moderately complex tasks.
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
