Emergency Veterinary & Specialty Services is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a group of people working together to serve our community by making sure people have a place to take their animals 24 hours a day. We love working together as a team to take care of the animals, and the people that love them.
Our Customer Service Representatives are our first and last opportunity to make a great impression on our clients. The CSR's answer phones, check clients in/out, handle all paperwork (over the phone right now due to COVID), process payments, and answer questions. They also check email and respond to requests or questions. We need someone full-time, evenings and weekends. Schedule would vary.
Job Summary:
Under direction of the doctors, the lead receptionist, the Hospital Administrator and CEO, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs a wide variety of duties to ensure patients are admitted, have estimates provided and discharged appropriately, clients are updated when appropriate under direction from the staff, logging ashes in from the crematory and out to the clients, recording any communications with clients and helping out in any other duties that are deemed appropriate. Clients first and last impressions of the business happen through the CSR's.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Customer service
- Answering mutli-line phone system
- Use of computer software EzyVet to: search for clients, enter clients/patient info, enter client communications
- Taking payments
- Going over discharge instructions
- Closing the financial transactions out for the specific shift
- Faxing/emailing medical records to referring veterinarians
- Checking email for online check-ins
- Communicating with the virtual CSR's through Slack
- Scanning medical records after completed
- Helping staff as needed
- Getting patients in and out of the hospital
- Helping with light cleaning duties
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma
- Prefer veterinary experience
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Gmail, etc.)
- Customer service
Schedule:
1 Full-Time CSR nights & weekends (specific days needed may vary)
1 Part-Time CSR nights & weekends (specific days needed may vary)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
