Located in Nevada, Iowa, our Medical Center delivers high quality healthcare in a community-oriented manner in more than two dozen services and specialties.

As a Clinic Nurse Supervisor you will:

• Serve as a clinical leader, clinical resource person, role model, coach and facilitator for clinical teams, and department operations.
• Has the responsibility and authority to lead their work group; resolve routine issues, and create positive, productive and fiscally responsible work unit.
• Stay current on outpatient best practices, act as a resource to team members and provide training which improves team competency and enhances level of service.
• Identifies staff education needs and facilitates the educational process by in-services and staff feedback
• Works collaboratively and maintains active communication with physicians, clinical team and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to effect timely, appropriate patient care delivery
• Support our mobile unit and off-site operations when warranted
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient, resident, personnel information, and all other hospital information.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
• Current Iowa nursing license, in good standing
• Broad knowledge and experience of Nursing Practice Act, standards of care, and emergency medicine.
• Current BLS certification
• Mandatory Reporter training upon hire

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Previous supervisory experience in a clinic setting or demonstrated leadership and management ability preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• Adaptability to accepting responsibility for the direction, control, or planning of an activity
• Ability to maintain a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers, providers, patients, and visitors
• Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.

Salary Range: $31.75 - $47.63
