Clinical Psychologist- Behavioral Health Integration Program
SITE OF SERVICE:
- Branch Naval Health Clinic, Fort Worth TX 76127 (Assigned to NHC Corpus Christi, TX)
- Full Time
POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor Psychology (PsyD)
- Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Experience: Possess ONE of the following:
- A one (1) year fellowship or residency in health psychology or behavioral medicine
- Possess one (1) year of experience in the last four (4) years in the evaluation and treatment of patients who have pain, psychological factors affecting their physical condition, or difficulty coping with medical problems.
- Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
- Letters of Recommendation: Provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the preceding two (2) years from practicing providers, supervisors or program administrators attesting to the HCW’s professional skills, competencies, patient rapport, training abilities, etc. Recommendation letters must include; name, title, phone number, date of recommendation, address and signature of the individual providing the recommendation.
- Additional Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- License/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be current U.S. Citizen
- English Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
- Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.
HOURS:
Monday through Friday 07:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Schedule will consist of: eight and a half (8.5) or nine (9) hour shift, to include an uncompensated thirty (30) minute or one (1) hour meal break. No more than 40 hours weekly.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Team-work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
