JOB TITLE: CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education – Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university.
B. Licensure/Certification – Current, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker
C. Experience – Minimum three-years (3) years of human services, social work and/or clinical experience working with the SPMI population.
D. Other - Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver’s license/ID, drug screen, TB test.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Clinical Compliance Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL:
· Conduct all professional activity in an ethical manner.
· Conform to all applicable Agency policies and procedures.
· In conjunction with other staff assist in identifying and eliminating any situation which puts at risk the health and/or safety of clients, staff, or others who come in contact with site operations.
· Utilize literature, workshops, and other training aids to continually improve clinical and administrative skills.
· Assist in assuring Agency compliance with all related licensing and accreditation requirements.
· Maintain licensure/credentials by completing all recommended continuing education requirements.
· Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned.
DIRECT SERVICE:
· Provides ongoing, regular feedback and evaluation to staff on the quality and timeliness of their clinical work as well as their caseload.
· Ensures that staff complies with all legal and ethical practices; co-signs clinical and non-clinical staff documentations (i.e. treatment plans, assessments).
· Perform individual, couples/family and group counseling sessions, and document sessions on the same day of service.
· Complete clinical health assessments to address behavioral health needs of individuals and treatment plans as needed.
· Assist clients with crisis management and perform involuntary commitments (1013) according to clinical and state guidelines as needed.
· Lead treatment team meetings to review client progress, needs, and continued plan of care.
· Communicates any concerns about quality of staff’s work to Clinical Director in a timely manner.
· Identifies training needs and makes recommendations to the Clinical Director.
· Intervene, stabilize, and manage acute crisis situations as needed.
· Assist in hiring and training new staff/interns.
· Train staff in areas relating to service specialties as needed.
· Maintain confidentiality for all indirect/direct service in accordance with agency policies and HIPPA policies.
· Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
· Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency policies.
· Ensure timely completion of agency required trainings/workshops.
· Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
· Maintain Agency performance expectations 100% of the time.
· Complete and provide quality, collaborative service documentation 100% of the time.
· 100% of all supervisees have met their KPIs
· All new hires will be trained, and competency expectations will be met within first 30 days and ongoing.
· 100% of all new hires will receive bi-weekly supervision for the first 90 days
· 99% accurate on entering information in EMR.
· 100% of require trainings will be completed within specified time frames.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
