The Southeast Counseling Center (SECC) at Aurora Mental Health Center (AuMHC) is a dynamic and diverse team serving adults both in-person and by telehealth. As we grow, we find we need additional supervision and program development. We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision and help the manager with program development, as well as provide clinical services and additional support to clients.
About You.
The ideal candidate for this position is a LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist who has some experience providing supervision to therapists. The candidate will need to enjoy working on a team and working with the team manager to provide support to staff and clients. About the team.
The Southeast Counseling Center provides individual and group therapy. The team has an atmosphere of professional growth and compassion for our clients and our community. The growth in the Southeast Counseling Center has been very positive – we have added new perspectives and talents and are better able to meet community needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise components of clinical operations, and set program policy and procedures for the team.
- Provide group and individual supervision and case conference meetings on a weekly basis.
- Build and maintain cohesive, supportive, reflective, and respectful relationships among staff.
- Review all process and outcome data with staff and discuss areas for improvement, responding to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff.
- Supervise entry of all data by staff to ensure accuracy, and conduct chart reviews.
- Build relationships and work collaboratively with local non-profit agencies, public social services, and state policymakers to enhance their understanding and utilization of services.
- Maintain a small caseload determined by team capacity and need.
- Support the Program Manager with program development and other tasks, as requested.
- Monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the client's care team.
Requirements:
- Licensed mental health clinician with Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
- Knowledge of child, youth, and adult mental health interventions and diagnoses.
- Minimum of five years' experience working psychotherapeutically with clients, along with experience specific to the program being led preferred.
- Significant experience working in office and community-based settings.
- Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience conducting supervision with Master's-level clinicians preferred.
- Only accepting the following Clinical Licensure: LP, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD
- Strong commitment to the vision, mission, and goals of AuMHC.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.
Required Vaccinations and TB Test.
AuMHC has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, receive annual influenza (flu) shot, and receive negative TB test results prior to their first day of hire. Proof of both vaccinations and a negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested for either COVID-19 vaccine or annual flu shot.
$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available! *Not eligible for internal candidates and PRN positions.
Based on full-time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.
Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on experience and company equity.
- Licensed Therapist: $68,970 - $94,380 per year.
- Licensed Psychologist: $94,380 - $112,530 per year.
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *Rate depends on language requirements for the position and candidate's fluency.
- 10% of base salary up to a maximum of $6,000/year
