Job Summary:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Clinical Testing Analyst. Coordinate loading and pre-staging data within the Cerner Millennium test environment for User Functional Testing and Integration Validation Testing in collaboration with the Enterprise Testing Services (ETS) test manager and Cerner testing lead. Assist with test case management, tracking, and logistical support during the testing events. Work collaboratively with the CMO Test & Evaluation Test Director to create a detailed IV testing plans to address the testing resource needs for IOC and future rollout waves.

Perform general project management of clinical testing activities in collaboration with Team Lead. Understanding of Cerner capabilities and nomenclature to enable VA understanding in partnership with the Solution Expert and Subject Matter Expert. Provide support to council the Council Admins and members by assisting in the current state workflow/requirements analysis. Understand workflow process and test integration. Assist in identifying Lesson Learns from testing events and incorporating updates into future test scripts. Help define interface specifications and requirements for other vendors.

Assist in the development of testing scripts and support all testing types and testing events. Review and assist in managing defects and defect resolutions Assist Solution. Attend and facility testing coordination, defect management and internal meetings. Log, track, and update solution requirements, risks, and issues in the testing software application. Provide status updates to client and leadership on site briefings.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
  • Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Strong leadership, written/oral communications, analysis, data gathering and organization skills
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
  • Must have strong HP ALM experience
  • Nursing informatics and/or other strong clinical background with testing experience, interface testing, project work

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA
  • 3 years of Cerner EHR software testing experience
  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records Systems
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Able to produce well-written, quality documents
  • Able to proactively engage with stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking schedule and performance progress

Compensation:

  • Full-Time Direct Hire
  • Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
