Cloud Software Developer

General Position Description

A leading provider of supply chain solutions to the healthcare industry seeks experienced candidates for the position of Cloud Software Developer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop secure, full-stack, cloud-native, customer-facing web applications and APIs
• Develop system administration and data management utilities
• Develop middleware components for integration of PAR cloud and customer systems
• Develop scalable components for high-volume IoT message ingestion and processing
• Design and implement event-driven components in a messaging-based, service-oriented cloud architecture
• Establish and commit to development timelines and regular progress reporting
• Participate in requirements gathering, estimation, design, and iterative development activities
• Make use of DevOps tools for source code control and CI/CD

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 5+ years experience developing web-based applications using Microsoft technology stack:
• Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL Server
• Entity Framework, MVC, Razor, Sencha, PWA/SPA, HTML5, CSS3
• JavaScript, jQuery
• 2+ years experience developing serverless, Microsoft Azure cloud-native applications
• Expert-level understanding of web application security and countermeasures
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft T-SQL and relational database queries
• Experience developing real-time web applications using Web Sockets/SignalR
• Experience developing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions a plus
• Experience developing IoT messaging applications using MQTT and AMQP preferred
• Fundamental understanding of regulatory compliance practices, including HIPAA/HITECH
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Service Bus and messaging ecosystem, including queues, topics, and subscriptions

Education, Credentials and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering preferred
• Microsoft Azure or .NET certification preferred
