CNA/Patient Care Associate
Location: East Sandwich, MA 02537 /Spaulding Hospital Cape Cod(SRN and SCC)
Pay Rate: $30.00
Shift : 11:15 PM - 07:01 AM

Job Description:
Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Nurse. Certified Nursing Assistant required.
1. Patient care plan is carried out as directed by Registered Nurse.
2. Patient physical care is provided such as bed bath, toileting, grooming, changing bed linen, etc. per established guidelines.
3. Patient general care is provided such as positioning, lifting and turning, and using adaptive and transfer equipment per established guidelines.
4. Patient monitoring activities such as vital signs and blood glucose are performed per established guidelines.
5. Patients are prepared for meals, assisting when appropriate to meet patients’ need.
6. Patient rounds are performed regularly, and call lights are answered promptly to meet patients’ needs.
7. Patient care is documented in a timely manner adhering to established standards.
8. Patient room clutter is organized to make best use of space and clean environment.
9. Specimens are obtained and labeled consistent with established procedures.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Standard shift:

• Night shift
• Overnight shift

Supplemental schedule:

• Overtime

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• East Sandwich, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
