Certified Nursing Assistant (Assisted Living)

Full Time

A certified nursing assistant helps residents with direct health care needs, under the supervision of nurse and Director of Health and Wellness.

Some of their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing different levels of assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming based on the individual needs of each resident as they age in place.

• Answering resident calls bells and pendants with in specific time frames.

• Documenting information as needed

• Basic housekeeping and changing bedsheets

• Stocking supplies

• Safety procedures

• Transporting resident to and from activities and meals.

• Observing of resident rights

• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Competent in organizational, time management skills.

• Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills.

• Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral form) in a care setting with residents, families and staff.'
