CNC Machinist, 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist, 2nd Shift for an existing projects using drawings, prints and tool lists.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machine from start to finish using drawings, prints and tool lists.
• Perform part inspections as necessary to ensure quality of work and continually monitor parts production to ensure adherence to blueprint tolerances using appropriate inspection tools and criteria.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of typical shop inspection equipment such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, bore gages and CMM
• Proficient with all inspection methodologies.

Requirements:

• Completion of an Apprenticeship Program is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing
• Experience of setting up, proving out, and operating CNC turning, and/or milling, grinding, and gear shaping equipment, including making program edits, tool offsets, and compensations.
• Prior experience with tooling and fixtures
• Ability to troubleshoot
