CNC Machinist - Henderson

Position Summary:

The CNC Operator Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• CNC Machinist or CNC Operator verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces during production machining
• CNC Operator will set up tooling, fixturing and inspection equipment required for part types in production group
• Machinist must have knowledge and ability to read and use G & M code at the control
• CNC Operator can read and understand dimensions on part drawings
• CNC Machinist or CNC Operator perform maintenance duties
• CNC Operator and CNC Machinist maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• All Machine Shop employees follow Lean manufacturing utilizing tools such as Kaizans, 5S, RIE’s and other work area standards
• Follow and promote ENTEK company core values

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

· CNC technical degree and 5+ years experience, or equivalent.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents.

· Desire and ability to learn

· Must demonstrate good time management skills and self-manage behavior

· Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), required.

· Good teamwork attitude

Location: Henderson, NV

Schedule: Day 6:45-3:15 or Swing 3:00-11:30 - Must be willing to work any shift including 12 hour shifts.

Salary Range: $21.00 – $28.50
