MIBA Industrial Bearings U.S. is a global leader in the design and manufacture of hydro-dynamic bearings.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Perform various semi-skilled to skilled operations using various CNC machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate CNC turning centers and/or machining centers, select proper feeds, speeds and tooling, determine clamping methods and make machine adjustments with limited use of fixtures.
• Read and interpret work order routings, prints, sketches, and tool sheets, as required. Maintain tolerances per drawing requirements.
• Inspect work using micrometer, bore gage, Vernier calipers, or other measuring precision instruments. This may include micrometers up to 25”.
• Make average mathematical calculations and resolve elementary technical problems.
• Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies, reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Make proper labor and time report entries.
• Keep machine(s) / work area clean and orderly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires a High School diploma and basic numerical controlled machining center knowledge and/or turning center experience. Experience as a manual machinist is a plus.
• US Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the US is required
• Requires the ability to read and interpret work related machine drawings, the ability to understand and follow tool path within a program, and follow written and verbal procedures as assigned. Must be able to recognize and understand machine functions as required.
• Requires experience in working with a variety of materials (metals) and the ability to use preset tools.
• Mechanical aptitude, detail orientated, quality and safety minded are also required.
