HOERBIGER Corporation of America, INC. is seeking a CNC Saw Operator on 1st shift (5:55AM - 2:05PM) who is a career-minded individual looking for long-term growth and potential for our growing team. Based in Pompano Beach, FL HOERBIGER Corporation Of America, INC. is an industry leader in manufacturing for the oil and gas industry.

The CNC Saw Operator receive, stocks, and allocates materials to various departments with using a forklift in order to support our plant in having the right material in a specific area in a timely fashion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads work order to determine dimensions of pieces to be cut.
• Loads material on to machine table, securely clamping in to position.
• Turns rheostat or hand wheel to adjust tension of blade and to synchronize timing of cutting blades with rate of material feed to regulate length and width of cut.
• Enters product information into CNC control panel
• Starts machine and verifies size of cut pieces.
• Readjusts machine to ensure specified dimensions of piece.
• Sets counting device to control number of pieces to cut.
• Observes operation of machine to detect malfunctions such as thickness and flatness.
• Stops machine to make required adjustments. Replaces worn cutting blades.
• Documents the Heat Treat information on the cut pieces/paperwork
• Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• One or more years of Production experience required
• One or more years of Operataing Saw Machines
• High school diploma or equivalent
