HOERBIGER Corporation of America, INC. (HCA) is seeking a CNC Setup Operator I on 3rd shift (10:00PM -6:00AM) who is a career-minded individual looking for long-term growth and potential for our growing team. Based in Pompano Beach, FL HOERBIGER Corporation Of America, INC. is an industry leader in manufacturing for the oil and gas industry.

The CNC Setup Operator I Sets up and Operates multi-axis CNC Milling and/or Turning Center to mill and/or turn surfaces of metallic or polymer work pieces of one or more styles of machine/turning centers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads Programs, Identify Errors, Sets Up Machines, Performs Offsets on turning machine centers
• Selects appropriate work holding and secures the workpiece in the CNC
• Loads and secures cutting tools
• Set up and operation of machine and observes cutting operation
• Compares completed workpiece with blueprint with regards to specific metric measurements based on pre-determined inspection cycle for the product
• Alerts lead of any non-compliant completed workpiece prior to continuing production
• Accurately completes required quality and production control documents
• Setting new tooling and offsetting tool/program as required
• Repeats the operation of the machine to complete the job order
• Notifies lead of any unusual occurrences with the machine, tooling or workpiece
• Performs Basic Machine Maintenance Functions
• Follows all safety procedures regarding the proper operation of the machine
• Sets up and operates CMM with existing programs
• Performs other duties as may be required or assigned
• Identifies Errors.
• Preset Tools
• Check for tool wear, breakage and/or tool life monitoring system
• Deburring
• Understands all aspects of Deburring
• Ability to perform the functions of Machine Operator.

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of CNC Machinist experience required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• And/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to set up and operator CNC machining centers
