Responsibilities:
- Complete the disassembly of the vehicle to examine the damages to plan the repair process.
- Works and communicates with others to keep all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
- Performing complete light to heavy repairs, including structural repairs
- Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
- Makes decisions on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
- Attend daily release meetings
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Skilled Auto Body Technician with great attention to detail and quality
- Certification in body repair is preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-volume shop environment
- Ability to manage time and workflow of cars
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by the manufacturer.
- Strong, consistent attention to detail.
- Positive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting
