Our company is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable person to handle our commercial properties. This is an entry-level position for someone interested in accounting and growing with our corporate office in Fairview. We are a real estate investment company with a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, hotels and development projects located throughout the United States.

Our office environment is a friendly, small, and collaborative team. The successful candidate will have some related education or equivalent experience (experience in retail qualifies), Excel spreadsheet skills, and strong attention to detail. You should possess some intellectual curiosity, willingness to be a team player in accomplishing department deadlines and goals, and expect to contribute your ideas for improving systems. Our close-knit team depends heavily on open and honest communication and you should be comfortable communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• 
  Daily review and posting of invoices and deposits into the company’s accounting system

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Print checks and prepare checks for mailing weekly.

• Research and resolve questions for accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Organize and maintain accounting records.

• Other accounting and office/administrative duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in accounting preferred but not required.
• Experience with Spectra (or property management accounting software) and Quickbooks preferred.
• Computer proficiency to include Microsoft & Google suites.
• Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
• Communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbally.
• Logically and independently plan, organize and complete work.
• Capable of working in harmony with a close-knit team.
