The Commercial Sales Leadership Program prepares a candidate for a role as a Territory Sales Manager by participating in a rotational 52-week program consisting of:
- Plant Production and Operations
- Distribution
- Inside Sales
- Back Office Support
- Vendor Sales Training
- Customer Service
- Finance
- Outside Territory Sales
- Mentoring with Senior Leadership
After successfully completing the CSLP, you will be qualified for a position of Territory Sales Manager. Territory Sales Manager Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Growing the territory business through solution selling of gas products and technology to new and existing customers
- Developing and executing plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base
- Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions and project scope with existing and new customers
- Utilizing Outlook, Call Proof, or other company designated CRM platforms for planning, scheduling, and professional time management of the assigned sales territory
- Developing long-term relationships with strategic customers, facilitating Product Supply Agreements, and developing a sales territory customer portfolio with long-term targeted customers
- Actively reviewing and managing existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize working capital investment and financial risk
- Responding to and solving customer inquiries by deploying necessary company resources
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries by deploying necessary company resources
- Maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude with all associates, customers, vendors and other business partners
- Work closely with local Branch Managers to assist in promoting sales and customer management throughout retail store locations with an assigned territory
- Meet goals and objectives set by and with managers
- Perform administrative duties such as managing expenses through Concur, completing sales profitability analysis for proposal review, completing customer pricing and data sheets for computer contracts, etc.

CSLP Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong time and management skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Sales process training
- Knowledge and understanding of financial accounting terms and principals
