Essential Functions:

• Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise from the warehouse to the inmates
• Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
• Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform physical inventory as needed
• Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for delivery according to established procedures
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
• Delegates tasks to employees as necessary
• Informs management of escalating employee conduct issues
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing all safety standards and assisting with SAFE observations
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs

Ideal Candidates will possess:

• 1-5 years of retail industry experience
• Managing and communicating effectively in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is a key factor of this job
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions based off information provided is an essential capability to be successful in this role
• Previous retail and/or convenience store/big box retailer/grocery experience with a focus on customer sales, fulfillment and merchandising is desired
