Full-time & Part-time Hourly Position starting at $11.50 an hour.

Comfort Suites I-25 North * Las Cruces, NM *

Position Purpose: The Commons Attendant will maintain the quality and cleanliness of the front of house public areas, while assisting in any maintenance on the property as needed.

Duties and Performance/Tasks:

• Communicate daily with management regarding maintenace and work orders.
• Present a positive and professional work environment with team members and guests.
• Follow all safety and health regulations.
• Cleaning and supplying designated public areas including, sterilizing, polishing, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, (etc).
• Checks and cleans all public restrooms, as well as including the pool area, replacing paper supplies as needed.
• Cleans and re-stocks employee restrooms daily.
• Remove trash and vacuums carpets in the lobby and breakfast serving area and dinning area.
• Resolve issues or maintenace for any guests in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Learn and know the names of chemicals being used.
• Maintains a neat appearance of work cart.
• Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects via management
• Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.

. Requirements: Ability to work on your feet for 6 hours or more. Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision and ability to multitask.

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, and holidays.
• 6 months to 1 year or equivalent experience; Hotel commons experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
