PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The Community-Based Sexual Assault Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight and leadership to the De Colores Community Based Program and providing sexual violence support services, education, and case management to survivors of sexual violence in a community-based setting.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Must be able to work with families who have experienced sexual violence.
  • Experience providing case management services in a crisis environment.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under the automotive insurance policy.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have good organization and time management skills.
  • Must have a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to have one within 60 days of employment.
  • Must pass a background screening before starting.
  • Must be 21 years of age.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIE

  • Provide oversight, leadership, and supervision to the De Colores Community-Based Program. (Supervise staff, program & curriculum development, assessment and outcome management, and client management).
  • Supervise sexual assault and legal advocates, providing staff meetings, file meetings, and individual supervision sessions with each advocate. Ensure that advocates are completing daily tasks and complying with the goals and objectives of the program.
  • Training and onboarding new staff as needed and ensuring that all staff is updated with new training.
  • Ensure that advocates provide appropriate supportive services, group facilitation, and individual case management in a community-based setting to survivors of sexual violence.
  • Ensure advocates maintain current and accurate client records for all services rendered.
  • Ability to develop partnerships in the community and gain a knowledge base of local and state agencies that assist survivors of sexual and domestic violence in the community.


Effective January 3, 2022, all CPLC Employees and all Service Providers must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19. Newly hired employees, who are not Fully Vaccinated at the time of hire, are expected to begin a vaccination series immediately upon hire. CPLC recognizes medical and religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement by applicable law and upon approval by CPLC.
