Controller
Big Blue Plumbing is looking for a Controller with exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. The Controller should be professional, courteous, a skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management and communication skills. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and a background in human resources and finance to be successful.

Location: Alameda, CA

What We Offer:

• $90,000-$120,000/annually DOE

Responsibilities:

• Payroll - experience with hourly and commission-based employees, sub-contractors, additional labor, collection of payments, sales, and inventory are a must
• Accounting - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Cash Flow
• Banking and monthly financial statements
• Communications - managing cell phones and data plans of company phones and tablets
• Insurance - Health, Dental, Workers’ Compensation, Vehicle, and Liability insurances
• Taxes - Working alongside Bookkeeper and CPA for accurate and timely tax reporting
• Office management

Requirements:

• 4+ years of bookkeeping experience
• 4+ years as an office manager or office administrator
• Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
• High level of accuracy and efficiency
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Courteous, professional manner
• Excellent multitasking and follow-up skills
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to comply with all company, local, state, and federal financial regulations
