Title: Compliance Manager - Gulfport, MS

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position description is to clearly communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the Compliance Specialist position. This description is comprehensive; however, other duties as assigned, within the scope of the position are to be considered. All employees of Latter Blum Property Management, Inc are expected any reasonable task, within the scope of the position duties, that is consistent with fulfilling company objectives.

Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Answers and handles incoming phone calls

· Maintains accurate records

· Review files that are emailed/faxed in for compliance approval or corrections

· Scan and enter documents into Intranet

· Verify compliance information entered correctly in Yardi by onsite staff

· Complete compliance reports as needed

· Review files on-site prior to audits by agencies, state, third parties

· Attend audits, as needed

· Maintains positive customer relations attitude

· Organizes and files all applicable paperwork

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school education or equivalent is required

· Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Cloud based storage applications.

· Dependable & flexible as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

· Proactive, initiate follow-through.

· Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

· Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
