Job Summary

The Sales Associate is a field-based role responsible for the planning, communication and execution of both on and off-Premise objectives with our trade partners in an assigned territory. This position involves a considerable amount of time in market visiting on premise and off premise retailers, consumer activation support and building existing and new relationships to forge strong partnerships. The Sales Associate will partner with our Field Sales Managers to ensure we are achieving our fair share of business, growth and awareness in this important channel of business through regular interaction, account calls, training and education.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with accounts and buyers, and leverage those relationships to explore business opportunities
• Partner with distributors sales teams to educate on Constellation Brands’ priorities and standards
• Provide product education sessions to retailers and other customers
• Participate in new product launches
• Track sales performance measures and targets and communicate to distributors to assist in achieving expected results
• Conduct post-promotional analysis
• Conduct and report weekly progress checks of distributor performance
• Assist with other duties including events and special projects, as needed.

Requirements of Employment

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated ability in customer management within specific territory
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the desire to be a passionate brand ambassador
• Knowledge and understanding of local laws and guidelines around identification and service of alcohol
• Ability to deal with challenging situations and handle customer service matters professionally and effectively
• Excellent communication skills, articulate with strong public speaking ability/ experience and excellent writing skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
