This is a Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM in an office (this is not remote or hybrid role).

Hourly Rate: $21.00/hour+ depending on experience.

Summit Contracting Group’s Accounts Payables provides the knowledge, skills, and experience required to manage the day-to-day accounting tasks of a multifamily project. Project Accountants are responsible for keeping track of all invoices and billings and making sure the correct documents are in place before releasing funds to subs/vendors. Summit Accountants work closely with their Project Managers and Administrators to ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Accountable for job cost and subcontract/purchase order control as assigned by the controller.
• Review and process subcontractor billings. Research and resolve discrepancies when/ if needed.
• Prepare weekly check runs.
• Prepare monthly draws for all projects and submit proper documentation to owners for funding.
• Responsible for obtaining, scanning, and filing of accounting documents into proper files.
• Maintain subcontractor/vendor relations.
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable; submitting monthly billings to owner.
• Responsible for Accounts Payable; paying out subcontractors each month.
• Running a monthly job cost report that project team utilizes and processes.
• Responsible for entering in the budget and budget revisions when/if necessary.
• Multi-State sales tax reporting.
• Proficient In Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Construction Background
• Familiar with Job costing, AP/AR, Lien Releases, Pay Applications, Sales Tax, Sworn Statements, W9’s
