HMI Communications, LLC, a subsidiary of Henkels & McCoy Group, Inc., provides engineering, planning, construction, and system integration services to support multiple lines of business for both government and commercial utility providers.

Position Summary:

The Construction Coordinator duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Gather, track and input project related data to set-up projects in Daily Work Reports from field
  • Work with local municipalities on ascertaining project specific permits
  • Manage the quality of work and budget costs
  • Communicate with clients, developers, architects, and engineer
  • Prepare work schedules for contractors and laborers.
  • Adhere to both budgetary and time constraints.
  • Visit and inspecting building sites.
  • Report on progress and challenges.
  • Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work.
  • Overall administration of one or more projects
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties as requested.
  • Support our LEAN management team and project managers to refine our processes for greater profitability, management of resources, and production.
  • Communicate project progress to our customers interfaces.
  • White line projects and call in 811 locates for preparation of construction.
  • Regularly attend project related meetings with internal clients and the customer.

Construction Coordinator Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience in Construction related field.
  • Experience in Construction environment preferred
  • Must be able to cross-train and work in a team environment
  • Needs to be self-paced and able to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint needed.
  • Must be able to work within deadlines and meet deliverables.
  • Must have a valid Class C driver’s license
