About Casago: Casago is a Vacation Rental brand with headquarters in Scottsdale Az. Our office is located in a hip Scottsdale Quarter area in the heart of North Scottsdale. The office building is close to great coffee,and excellent restaurants. Several activities are planned throughout the year with a close tight-knit team. Our team is creating an advanced marketing and implementation platform that services our website that help millions of annual travelers.We have a presence in top destinations throughout the United States, Mexico and USVI.We are privately owned, debt-free, and have a team of serial entrepreneurs at the helm.

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience and abilities:

• A minimum of two years experience in digital content marketing and content strategy.
• The ability to edit a blog post or written article to conform to team standards.
• Be comfortable producing written content (i.e. a blog post on a topic) or overseeing the production of content.
• The ability to create a holistic content strategy and work with a team to implement.
• Intimately understand content calendars and are capable of executing (not just strategizing!) a content plan.
• Be proficient at leveraging Google Analytics for content marketing opportunities.
• Have some level experience with some of the following SEO/content tools: AHREFS, MOZ, SEMRush, SimilarWeb, Buzzsumo, GetStat (or other rank tracking software)
• Be comfortable providing freelancers (i.e. videographers and authors) with constructive feedback to increase the value of deliverables.
• Be familiar with the concept of a CMS (i.e. publishing a page/post on WordPress)

Bonus Experience (not required):

• You have participated in a link-building or traditional PR campaign.
• You have developed a content calendar based on KPIs and keyword research.
• You have previously managed a team of US-based freelance authors.
• You are proficient with Excel and Google Doc Spreadsheets.
• You are proficient with WordPress.

Typical Day At Casago for Content Specialist:

9 AM - 9:30 AM Meeting with product owner or manager to discuss prioritization of content as well as the current content calendar pipeline.

9:30 AM - 11 AM Working with AHREFS, SEMRush, and keyword research Google Spreadsheet to prioritize development of content for Casago.com.

12 PM - 3:00 PM Working on assigning content to our team of freelance authors. Once you finish that, you approve inbound content and make some small edits.

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM You publish content on Casago.com. This process is not as simple as hitting publish. You are working with our highly-customized version of WordPress and carefully following a process to tie licensed photos (you worked on that yesterday) to the piece of content. You are performing some light editing, data entry, keyword research, and applying other skills along the way.

5:00PM - Later We strive to get out of here on time whenever possible. We understand you have a family and life outside of work and want after-hours to be rarely utilized. Instead, we want to work on hitting our required KPIs during biz hours or reevaluate immediately if additional hours are required. We don't believe there is such a thing as a content emergency : )

The ideal candidate loves both the art and science of content marketing.
