UX Content Strategist Job Description

We are looking for a UX Content Strategist (or maybe you refer to yourself as a content designer, digital content strategist, or UX writer) to join our team. This position is a fully remote, client-facing role that is responsible for developing the overarching content strategy for investor relations websites and corporate websites for publicly traded companies.
Our content strategists review client-provided materials, develop and present the content structure and messaging to clients, and write or approve authored content on client-related projects. Additionally, they are responsible for providing content-related support for website projects in development and post-launch.
This position reports to the Director of Content Strategy.
Requirements
- Conduct stakeholder calls to gather project requirements, discuss the strategic approach, and analyze initial feedback from our clients
- Prepare by reviewing and understanding client-provided materials (i.e. Investor Day presentations, quarterly and annual filings, and annual reports)
- Discuss/Analyze content requirements with client stakeholders
- Propose/Present content strategy to client stakeholders
- Collaborate on project-related requirements with the Director of Content Strategy
- Create, develop, and source the following:
- Project briefs
- Sitemaps
- Content inventories and audits
- Content strategy
- Headlines and body copy (or review, edit and approve copy from the copywriter)
- Revise or manage revisions based on client feedback
- Finalize the outputs and ensure the content and related documents adhere to Accessibility Guidelines and Equisolve’s high-quality standards and accuracy
- Provide content support for live sites as assigned
- Communicate and relay content requirements and/or solutions to other departments and client stakeholders
- Collaborate and communicate with the project manager and design team members
- Ensure website projects are created on time and without content errors
- Oversee copywriters as needed
- Continuously share feedback to improve the process and productivity of the content team
Qualifications
- BS in Journalism/marketing/communications/related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of content-related experience
- Agency experience is a plus
- Experience working with Investor Relations, finance, and/or biotechs is also a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to self-manage and work independently
- Sense of humor

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
