The ideal candidate for a Continuous Improvement Engineer would be able to do the following:

• 
  Leadership and facilitation of impactful improvement initiatives, particularly high-level, highly complex initiatives, within and across the business
• Actively participates in and supports Waste reduction activities across the business
• Supports Continuous Improvement Champions across the business
  • Through communication of potential skill gaps
    • Follow-up teaching, coaching, and mentoring
    • Guidance in the application of problem solving knowledge within the business
• Assists in removing obstacles to success
• Positively promotes Continuous Improvement throughout the organization by teaching, challenging, inspiring, and growing others to embrace positive change

Qualifications:

• Additional years of experience or education may be substituted for each other as determined by Human Resources and/or the Continuous Improvement Manager.
• Background in Industrial or Process Engineering, Process-Based Management, Leadership and/or business-leadership preferred
• 5+ years of results-driven problem solving experience using industry standard methodology (PDCA, DMAIC, etc.) and Lean tools required
• Project Management skills preferred
• Process minded – able to understand technical processes, both manufacturing and support areas
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem solving aptitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
