Contract Administrator
The Contract Administrator is responsible for contract development, review, analysis and negotiation for complex contract arrangements across all of Argano.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensures contract compliance with current law/regulations and Argano's policies, procedures and practices.
- Manages contract negotiations between Argano and third parties, including clients, prospective clients, vendors, and independent contracts, which includes resolving conflicting interests and objectives.
- Assists in the development of negotiation strategies, identifies areas of contract risk, offers alternatives for management of such risk, and provides consultation and guidance to administrators and other parties internally throughout Argano with respect to contract matters.
- Works independently in management of a large number of simultaneous contract negotiations and performs other miscellaneous responsibilities and special projects as requested. Also, be able to identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
- Additional duties of the Contract Administrator may vary based on department needs.
What you'll need:
- Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in business or law with a minimum of three years of related experience in contract management/negotiations.
- Working knowledge of business and contract law relating to IT professional services contract issues.
- Contracting experience in services agreements, data privacy and licensing, software and other technology related contracting preferred
- Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills, exceptional communication abilities, self-directed, ability to work independently with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be able to compose business contract terms and language, including redlining agreements for counter negotiation and inclusion in contracts.
- Strong analytical skills needed for analysis of complex contracting arrangements, mediating and resolving issues relating to contract negotiation.
- Ingenuity, judgment and creativity are needed to perform this job combined with good planning and organizational skills.
