Contract Compensation Analyst
Job description
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr
3-6 months contract
Work Schedule: Mon- Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
Initially remote, but may require to be in the office based on still developing COVID policy for returning to work

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Responsible for assisting with the administration of compensation processes, including but not limited to: salary survey participation, bonus plan administration, data management and analysis, proficient experience with Excel/Google-based formulas, v-look and pivot table knowledge, documentation maintenance, collaboration skills and ability to communicate well with peers and various levels of management.
- Works closely with HRIS, HRBPs and managers to address compensation issues, researches and recommends solutions, and prepares related
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Compensation survey participation and results gathering to ensure we have the highest quality market data possible to benchmark our internal pay practice
- Experience with Workday Compensation modules is preferred
- Performs data audits as needed to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Responds to inquiries from HRBPs regarding compensation matters in a timely, accurate and service-oriented manner
- Collaborates with HRBP, HRIS, IT, and Payroll in the administration of compensation programs, including facilitating training, attending meetings, following guidelines and processes,
- Exhibits strong verbal and written communication abilities, etc.
- Participates in developing and maintaining documentation for all level of users
- Assists with compensation planning and design, and performing related analysis and reporting
TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION:
- Acts as an integral member of the Total Rewards team, in support of the company values and goals
- Works in a collaborative fashion with the HR team and other departments
- Communicates effectively and proactively with peers, HRBPs,managers, and employees
- Demonstrates responsible handling of sensitive employee and organizational data
SKILLS:
- Proficiency with MS Excel and/or Google Sheets: formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup (required)
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of people to accomplish goals and support others
- Proven problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Keen ability to multitask and prioritize work deliverables as needs evolve
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (HR, Accounting, Finance, Business) preferred
- 3+ years Compensation administration experience required
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data management, including MS Excel and/or Google Sheets: formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup
- Workday proficiency in the following areas preferred: Advanced Compensation, Workday Core HCM, enterprise integration builder (EIB), calculated fields, business processes, condition rules and filters, (User testing experience highly preferred)
