The applicant must have a proven ability to lead teams in solving complex, multi-functional problems and have a demonstrated ability to represent programs to external and internal customers at all levels.
The applicant must have successfully demonstrated the ability to manage technical programs and have a proven understanding of the program management discipline and have the excellent communication skills needed to manage remote teams across multiple functional areas. The programs in this portfolio have significant subcontracted technical content by commercial telecom industry entities so the applicant must have experience in the management of programs that contain subcontracted content.

This portfolio of programs involves developing new networking approaches using 5G enabled communications. Extensive experience with cellular and communication architectures is highly desirable. Experience with the design and deployment of RF communications systems and more conventional DoD radio communications hardware and systems is also highly desirable. It is also desirable for this PM to have experience with the use of those systems in a tactical environment The applicant should have an understanding of current 5G 3GPP standards and their implementation within the commercial market by non-traditional defense contractors (NTDCs). Experience with developing and evaluating proposals produced by NTDCs is highly desired. Experience in developing new business relationships between defense contractors and NTDCs is also desired.
