The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate includes the following:
- Creating estimates, quotes, budgets and orders to meet customer needs
- Following up to gain sales
- Growing and improving relationships with customers and suppliers
- Achieving competitive supplier pricing on material and services
- Overseeing the life cycle of each job and any variations
- Evaluating and overseeing purchase and sales orders
- Evaluating contract documents and engineering drawings
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:
- A degree
- Four or more years of industrial sales estimating experience
- One or more years of CAD experience
- Familiarity with the conveyor and/or material handling industry
- Ability to travel to trade shows or customer sites (zero to ten percent travel)
- A work history that is stable and free of employment gaps
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
