About us:

Corbeaux is a new wine and tea house opening Winter 2023 in OldTown Temecula, at the corner of Mercedes St and 2nd St near the Parking Garage.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and experienced cook to join our winery tasting room team. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and beverages for our guests. You will work closely with the tasting room staff to ensure that all guests receive excellent service and a memorable dining experience. You will design creative pairings with wine and food and also tea and food.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare a variety of menu items, including appetizers, small plate entrees, and desserts, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Ensure that all food is stored, prepared, and served in accordance with all food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the tasting room staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on new menu items, promotions, and winery events.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and new cooking techniques to bring innovation to our menu offerings.

Candidate Must Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary training or related degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience cooking in a similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including cooking and plating.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
